Blackbird
I met up with a friend for Sunday brunch today. I suggested the Blackbird partly because we used to spend a lot of time in there as students when it was the Auld Toll; and partly because I could get a blip of their orange bicycle sign.
When I come home, I decide to expand my photoshop skills (which before today consisted of using the crop tool) by learning how to convert colour photographs to black and white and creating handy layer masks. I was on the point of giving up with the latter as I just couldn't get it to work.
Luckily, Geof got home at this point, from judging a competition of home brewed beers at the Scottish Craft (home) Brewers Association AGM, and managed to 'fix' photoshop. He even helped me colour in bicycle and the birdhouses using the mask tool.
Off to make some pad thai now.
