Well I'll go to the foot of our stairs

Not exactly our stairs, these are on the tallest of the Hills at Bartlow.
A lovely place and somewhere the children actually don't mind going for a dog walk. We went up there today, the sun was shining, the snow has gone and everything is green, it was very peaceful, well apart from Alfie and Poppy. The other good thing about Bartlow is the pub, a pint was very welcome.

Of course the snow melting and the rain we had last night meant the river was a little high this morning, it has dropped a foot throughout the day and hopefully we'll survive the rain next week without it getting any higher.
