Feeling a bit bleh today. So I guess I won’t be doing too much. Your getting a boring blip today.
This little pouch is called a housewife. It was standard army issue in the 70’s. Don’t know if it still is. It contained crucial items like sewing needles and thread. Can’t remember what else.
This is mine, I got in 1970 when I enlisted in the Signals for a three year period.

Folk that know me ask why I did it, and the truth is, it was just for something to do. I had just lost two jobs in the spate of a month and couldn’t be bothered looking for something else.
