Before the rain

These fringed tulips opened up in the sun this morning and I don’t think that they expected that they would have to close early. After lunch grey clouds appeared and before long we had thunder and lightning and rain. Very thankful for the rain although it didn’t last too long and the tulips didn’t bother opening again.
