The red Japanese Acers are opening

I thought I’d capture the leaves coming out this morning while the light was interesting.  I was hoping to add the ones that live around the back of the house this afternoon, but it rained and I felt quite tired.  The yellow/ orange acers are much more advanced in their leaf development and I’ve featured them already.

Some garden tidying this morning, followed by a sit-down this afternoon and a play with a couple of art programmes on my iPad.  They’ve updated since I last used them so it’s back to square one for me as I try to work out what does what.  I was inspired to use it again by an artist I spotted on Pinterest this morning:  Michelle Brown
