A novel way to get your exercise in these strange times.    His dog was enjoying the outing too, sitting on the prow of the canoe.   
Just in case anyone is wondering, his property has a river frontage like mine, so no unnecessary journey to the river and he was more than two metres from anyone either in their gardens or walking/running/cycling along the river bank.
Another day of cutting back in the garden, and at times watching the world go by down on the river bank, until a thunderstorm and rain stopped play.    I now won't have to water the seeds I planted yesterday.
