Portrait practice

It's been cold and cloudy so we have stayed inside most of the day. Ended up practicing taking portraits and used my self as a model. This was a good exercise and learned something new about how to take advantage from window light when shooting faces. 

The mood in all of these where quite melancholic, but that pretty much what I felt today. Shoot all in black an white and tried to focus on composing with light. To my surprise I ended up liking the color pictures more.
