Ice and water

A late night last night after celebrating Chris' fortieth birthday. Not a boozy night, just a good meal at an Italian restaurant in Lymm. Got to bed just after midnight, so a little lie in until about 9am this morning.

Then a Sunday of popping round a few shops and advising family members on how to best use their new tablet. (I've always been a techiey so people will always ask me their techie questions.)

A few minutes to myself, later on, so a quick walk to Daisy Nook.
Lots of rain yesterday has cleared most of the snowy deluge we received on Friday night, when six inches of snow fell in a few hours.

The lake at Daisy Nook (called Crime Lake, though not because of any crime) was still frozen in places, a reminder that the bad weather still isn't completely behind us.
