Day 21 Jungle Cat

Today began quite differently from any Easter Sunday I've known: at 9am we had a video call between the scattered homes of us, our daughters and Mr MC's brother and sister and their families.  It was lovely to chat as though in one room.
We spent as much of the rest of the day as possible in the garden, where the sun was quite hot when out.  We had been promised rain by the weatherman, which we now need, but all the dark clouds and odd clap of thunder produced was a shower lasting only about 15 minutes.
My blip today featuresPeggy Sue taking up what is clearly a favourite position right in the middle of the iris leaves.  Before you ask, no, her eyes are not quite that green, although not far off.
In other news, the Prime Minister is out of hospital and was well enough to speak briefly to the nation.  On a downward note, the UK has now reached over 10,000 coronavirus deaths, which confirms, if there was any doubt, that the lockdown will continue for some time to come
