We slept well again......after washing & blowing my ever growing hair, we had breakfast in the summerhouse. Initially a bit chilly, but it soon warmed up as the day progressed, we got a bit more in the way of hazy sunshine. I always like to see the laundry out, it soon dried in the breeze.

We noticed yesterday that Reds, our fav little cafe in town, was advertising their takeouts just at the weekends.....so as hub has been craving his "club sandwich" we called them, placed our order, 30 minutes later we were sat in the summerhouse eating our lunch, with a lovely cappucino too :-)

We had a quick walk just for half an hour or so, long enough to grab this shot from a nearby farm, where we sometimes get our veg, thought it would be perfect for the Derelict Sunday challenge.

Our ongoing bbq saga continued again this evening as it clouded up, was much breezier and then around 5 it started to rain! At least Id taken the laundry in, unlike our daughter in law, who apparently grabbed her dressing gown, put up the hood, ran out into their garden to retrieve their laundry and promptly slipped landing straight in the girls paddling pool :-0 Son said they were all hysterical, laughing so much that she couldnt get up.....wish Id been there to see that :-D

We watched Andrea Bochelli live on Youtube from a Church in Italy......it was a special Easter Sunday performance, very moving.

Our bbq took place indoors, not literally of course......griddled burgers and sausage, fried onions, on buns, with cheese, gherkins & mustard on mine, ketchup on hubs.....with side salad. They were absolutely gorgeous!!

Youngest called us after dinner for a chat, not a lot to report really.....always good to catch up though :-) they are all fine thankfully.

We have plenty to watch on tv tonight, with a nice glass of red :-)
