Whispers in the gallery....

Great day off.....pottered in the morning, with half an eye on the Murray match, then in the afternoon J and I took a trip to the Portrait Gallery for the last day of the BP Portrait Award Exhibition.

Some stunning pieces of work - the hyper real portraits that look like photos, until you get right up to them and can see the brush strokes....

Treated myself to a book and poster of the exhibition, well, I abstained from having a scone, so it as the next best thing.

Managed to take a few sneaky pics in the gallery. I particularly like the lighting in this one.
