Traditions

We all find these unusual circumstances difficult and today I realised that my expectations for celebrating Easter and creating traditions led to disappoints for all of us. We are a small family unit and the youngest (9 years next week) was on a downer that we couldn't all be together this weekend. Truth, I think we were all putting on a brave face. However by the end of virtual get together I believe she was a bit happier.
We tend to create family traditions and then
when circumstances change the expectations we wonder about the wisdom of traditions.....
