Day 19: The Bridge.... to Dogs’ Paradise.

Day 19 of the Nationwide Lockdown.
Maisie and I walked after 8am this morning.. Over the small footbridge and into the Pony Club grounds. Maisie’s favourite place. There were lots more people walking the tracks on this fine sunny morning after a wet and windy night.
Five very elderly vulnerable folk have died in New Zealand as a result of the Covid-19 virus. That is very sad and made even sadder because their close family members would have been unable to be with them. It shows how important it is for us all, especially those of us aged over 70, to follow the rules of Level Four of the Lockdown. Fortunately the numbers of those infected with the virus are dropping. Hopefully a sign we are winning the battle. Kia Kaha my friends.
