Smiling pansies

Easter Sunday, and there was chocolate!

We pottered on in our strange, new 'normal' way. 
MrM continued working on the hall - we now have skirting boards on some of the walls, so it looks an awful lot better. Excitement of the day occurred when he managed to put a screw through the 'phone wire, but we managed to sort it out fairly quickly and the phone and internet are working again now. Phew!!!
I tackled all sorts of little bits and pieces, and cooked a delicious stew for dinner (though poor MrM is still suffering from raging toothache, which hampered his enjoyment somewhat). 

It was a rather grey , chilly day - the temperature reached 6degC here in our little corner of Northumberland, so we opted to exercise on the bike rather than walking. Most of us may be sticking to the rules, but we suspect that there may have been more people out walking today than previously during lockdown. The holiday house opposite has been occupied for the last couple of days, and it seems that it's not the only one. Grrr...
