A new posting
On my walk to and from our local park today I could have walked Brodie off the lead most of the way as roads usually choked with traffic were spookily quiet.
So I was rather surprised to see these signs scattered about the forest trails this morning. However a fellow walker told me that the park has been busy with lots of cyclists and runners mainly at the weekends - so I guess these signs are needed.
Personally I feel it’s the runners who need to slow down and make way for walkers. I’m fed up with having to veer out of their way even on quiet streets and pavements where there is plenty of room for manoeuvre. And I ran regularly myself until 6 months ago.
