Let’s Do the Twist

Hank Ballard released “The Twist” in 1959, the year I was born, and it peaked at #28 in 1960. The version most of us remember though is by Chubby Checkers, when his topped the charts for a full week in September, 1960, and again for two weeks in January, 1962. It’s the only song to reach #1 status at two different times. Do you remember dancing to it? I do, and it was so fun. If I attempted the same now I’d be in traction for a week! Anyway, this Bluejay had his own dance going this morning during some light rain. I was lucky enough to capture his ‘round and ‘round and ‘round and ‘round! Be well, Blipmates!
