Pigeon on a mission

Managed to get a couple of long put off jobs done today. My clearing out is as done as it can be for the moment so I enjoyed some time sitting and reading in my newly created study.
A walk on the beach didn't yield any photos I particularly liked but some ideas for future projects. 
When I got home this Pigeon was on its usual strut around the garden fending off smaller birds from the bird table - he is particularly mean to a newly arrived Collared Dove who has the audacity to imagine he can share the food! Still here he is hot footing it for a drink in the pond.
