Walk along the river Knaich

Difficult to believe as we walked along the banks of the River Knaik this afternoon, near Braco, that we are in the midst of a world wide pandemic.
 
We never saw anyone. But then this is a little known public footpath so maybe it is not that surprising.
 
One result of the lockdown is that we are discovering new paths in our area, paths which in the past we would have dismissed.
 
There is no escaping the extraordinary stillness permeating the countryside especially on Easter Monday. It’s uncanny.
