TT 255..........button (in isolation)

This button is from my mum's (bless 'er) button tin. She used to knit all her cardies and dad's jumpers. Fair isle and more!! She was so neat with her knitting. I'm ashamed to say I didn't inherit her fastidiousness..........

I don't know whether this rather regally embossed button was from something she made or something she snavelled the buttons from, just in case. "Waste not want not" I can hear her say ;-)   Oh - and she did love the Queen so maybe she was going through a royalist period.
