Cheeky Chap
Steve and I had a very very slow start into the day this morning. My head was a little fragile after my night out last night which was a really nice night.
Kirsten and I met and had some lovely Japanese food (not sushi!) at a little place near Farringdon - the food was delicious.
I joined a site a while ago called City Socialising - mainly to extend my social circle a little since I find that my life and friends have become very work focused. There was a mingle event I went to with Kirsten last night and it turned out to be a really nice night and I spoke to quite a few nice and interesting people which was nice. I love living in London but there are a number of downsides to a city this size which is meeting new people and making connections/ friendships.
Anyways while we were slowly building up the energy to get out of bed Casper was working his way across the fireplace knocking all manner of things off. He would knock something off, then look at us for a reaction before moving along to the next thing. I just found it all too cute to get up and stop him at first.
In the afternoon we went to Ikea - mental. I could not believe how busy and how many cars were there - the place was rammed. Clearly they will be doing well :)
We picked up a couple of pieces to help organise our house and I then spent early evening clearing out our pantry.
I'm also doing the 5:2 diet and today is one of the "fasting" days so it is useful to keep busy and my mind off food. I was going to make some Scottish tablet but Steve thought that might not help the diet. Tomorrow is another day though so I'll more than likely do that tomorrow evening.
That's all folks......
