Gold and Blue Lake...

... on Les Chaux this morning with 4 eagles circling round (one in extra). What a place for a picnic. I have often blipped this little "snow reservoir" but with reflections. This morning the patterns blown on the surface by the cold north wind were unusually even and colourful. I perfect place of pure air to hang out for a while with not an aeroplane in the sky. Thank you hibou and Josiane for another great day out.

Thanks for all the interesting comments etc. for yesterday's Black Woodpecker. I hadn't realised that they do not live in Britain.
