Not Holland

Further up the hill from us an enterprising farmer turns over a bit of his land every year to seasonal flowers, there’s a tin (very firmly afixed to a pole, in turn fixed to an oil drum) for your money (with a note this year saying something* along the lines of don‘t touch the tin when putting your money in) and usually there are also knives to cut the flowers, but this year there’s another note advising you to bring your own (I‘d thought ahead!)

* it was obviously in German and they believe in more is more when it comes to explanations
