new desk space

A couple of months ago we went to ikea to buy a breakfast bar style table for our living room. I had this idea of setting it up near one of the living room windows so I could work at it or have breakfast there in the morning, staring out at the blue sky and river out the back.

We were only able to buy the table top that day. They were out of the base parts. So today I took the table top out of its packaging and set it up on top of our smallish kitchen island thing that’s on wheels.

I can now have a much bigger island either by the window as I’d always imagined, or anywhere I want in the kitchen as it’s on wheels!

So good to feel more “outside” when we’re trapped indoors.
