Cottage

Day off today. Received some new cycling gear yesterday courtesy of a Xmas gift voucher so headed out resplendent in my new shorts and helmet and a new top from my birthday. Took advantage of the quieter roads and headed out along The Lang Whang a road I usually try to avoid due to the heavy traffic on it. Did have to contend with a strong headwind and then when I turned off to head home took a wrong turning and ended up doing a bit more than I should have given the current situation . All in all I did 31 miles in about 2 1/2 hrs and hopefully will feel the benefit in coming rides
