And a progress report on the Aberdeen jigsaw. There were a couple of pieces missing from the edges and although I hoped it was simply a piece in the wrong place i was beginning to think there were pieces missing since I was struggling so much to progress. Finally got a tape measure out and measured and indeed the top edge was too long. Located two pieces that were wrong and hey presto they fitted on the bottom. So I’m still not progressing at any speed but possibly I’ll, get there eventually. 
That is unless the yarn I’ve ordered arrives. Project Linus provides blankets/quilts to children who would like a comfort blanket. As you can imagine there is a great demand at present so I shall crochet some blankets when I have the wherewithal.
