Hot cross bun substitute

My sister’s birthday today. Lots of messaging.
The other supermarket at the mall sells hot cross buns, but it’s always crowded.. I won’t go. A different shop from previously mentioned ones. The same brand was in Kw8, one of my least favourite supermarkets there too.
Shopped early today, bought buns, Easter eggs and other essentials. Chatted to friends. Movies on Netflix, a walk, dinner, Netflix, sleep.
