Where is everybody?

Day 23 of lockdown
Escape day! I had an appointment for a scan at Guy’s hospital in central London today, so it was a chance to escape after a month of semi-isolation at home. How eerily quiet the streets are, with so much less traffic than normal. A trip that would normally take 90 minutes was done in 40.

These ant adornments on a London building site seemed to sum up how bizarre it has all become. Such a weird world of covid craziness that we’re currently experiencing. Such a sad one too, with so many victims.
