Benfleet Creek

Another very early start for me as I've wanted to photograph this place since I came across it last week, but had to wait for tide and time to be right. It was a lovely, clear, calm, frosty morning so walking in my wellies to this place between Leigh-on-Sea and Benfleet was a pleasure. I did expect to take some long exposure shots so carried my tripod (quite heavy) all the way, but it was so calm and flat I didn't see much point as handheld was perfectly adequate. I think the photos are OK but am sure they can be improved upon another time. I also reckon they'll do for Wide Wednesday's challenge too!
