Morning Clematis

We planted this clematis last year and I was worried it wouldn't flower as it looked pretty dead over the winter.  But it's just started flowering and is covered in buds - such a thrill!  It looked lovely this morning.

I've added an extra of a little red-legged partridge, one of a pair that now come to scoop up the seed from under our bird feeders.
