A glorious day....

hot and sunny! Walked through the woods to the river and along the Speyside Way. Saw Tortoiseshell and peacock butterflies. The banks were covered in Wood Anemones and Celandine. Thrushes were singing and Goosander and Goldeneye were on the river.
First thing this morning, two squirrels were chasing through the birches in the garden, leaping from branch to branch at great speed.
Bees were busy on the tree flowers, lots of pollen for them. so put one in the extra. Good to stand under a tree and hear it buzzing!
