Lockdown Day 20 - The Office Day

So I'm writing this now outside in our garden to the deafening sound of the cicadas, crickets and frogs all playing their tune simultaneously!

The most awesome thing just happened.... We heard the lions roaring from the Kruger National Park. Which, as the crow flies is about 3kms (1.86 miles). Fantastic!!!

This morning J and I woke up to rain. We had a mild storm last night, probably more in the distance but we did have rain all through the night, lovely. Rain is always very welcome in this neck of the woods, we have terrible dry winters often with plenty bush fires too.

So our butternut here got a good watering.... Look how great they're looking :)

Today we spent most of it at J's workplace, she was called in to catch up on a few things she couldn't do from home. We also picked up our shopping order and had our drinking water bottles filled, here we don't risk drinking water from the taps.

We finished off our evening with with a live safari and now a little TV.
