Driftwood

Megan and I came across this massive piece of driftwood on the edge of the salt marsh. I think it has been there for quite some time but you have to wonder what sort of high tide would have floated this massive tree trunk down the river and onto the salt marsh. We've seen some high tides in the twelve years we have been living here close to sea but nothing so great as to manoeuvre such a large object.
