Meet Mrs CJF

A few days ago I managed to get hold of some bread flour and so could start making a sourdough starter, thanks to Cherryflapjack for the inspiration and website link. In this case I didn’t have to think too hard for the name, it had to be a tribute to Blipfoto’s resident sourdough expert. So my sourdough starter is called Mrs CJF!

Yesterday I had to throw half away but instead transferred it into another jar and “gave” (in lockdown she collected it from our porch)  it to Mum today.
