Lockdown: Day 23
One result of the government restrictions on travel was that my car had a flat battery yesterday having only been used for a few trips to Tesco (half a mile) and to the start of walks (no more than 2 miles). Today's job was to get the car going. Fortunately it didn't take long.
I can turn my hand to a lot of things but am clueless when it comes to anything under a car bonnet. I might have to refer to this blip if I ever need to do this myself. Top left attach jump leads to battery in car that won't start. Then clockwise ......... get a car with good battery as close as possible ....... attach other end of jump leads to it and start engine......... start other car, remove jump leads and drive to empty car park at Waterhead. Let engine run for 15 minutes whilst admiring the view.
