A nice day

After a few days out of sorts and far too much screen time, today was a much better day. Last night I planned some ideas for the day and I find that really helps. We didn't stick to my plan entirely but I had ideas up my sleeve when needed.

We started the day with a long walk. We walked to preschool and looked through the gates. We walked through the graveyard, it was beautiful and full of bluebells and primrose.

Then we went to the green. There were seven very small ducklings with their mother duck. We fed them and they were very confident. So cute!

We then went back to look at the bird nest that we saw in the crack of the tree about 2 weeks ago. I lifted Ivy up to have a look and that startled the occupant - a robin darted out and nearly flew into her! I hope we didnt frighten it too much.

I'm feeling excited tonight, school placements are announced tomorrow and so we will know which school Ivy will start in September.
