Best of the day

A totally unremarkable and grey day. The wind was strong and constant and made everything difficult or bloody annoying.

Horse care and dog walkies done with hands in pockets and hood up against the wind. 

Met a lovely couple of awld farming Brothers from South Ronaldsay who delivered some hay to me and kept me blethering a while. Absolute diamonds.

Later in the afternoon it was time for work. My last 24 hour shift for a while. In the last half hour of daylight, the sun appeared to melt away the greyness into blueness. The forecast for the next little while is sun and calm. Bring it on! Also nights at home with Gorgeous
