Rapt attention

What is it about rediscovering toys you've grown too old for? If this had been in our house, it would've been neglected and long forgotten (we sold similar toys in the NCT sale recently). But when they discovered this at our gym, it got their undivided attention!

A lovely day today. A lazy start, a fun lunch and a family swim followed by a takeaway for tea. Again, we weren't doing much...but what we did, we did together. I've had a pretty gruelling time at work and was feeling unpleasantly disconnected from the family- barely seeing them, stressed and grumpy for the little time I did. A weekend like this was exactly what we (and I) needed.

A day off tomorrow, spending some of it at SHMU...an earlyish night tonight, to make sure I make full use of the day.

I've been coveting new cameras...and then thought to have a look at our bridge camera's instruction manual. Sure enough, I can play around with aperture and shutter speed. Not enough to stop me wanting new cameras, but more than enough to be getting on with until I can afford them!
