A Sunrise Beach Walk

Susan woke me at 6:45 AM for a sunrise beach walk, yes, I wrote that right, I struggled to get up but wasn’t gonna miss the opportunity to share the experience with her. And it was a very cool morning. Just a few people mulling around and shell hunting. I walked my usual two miles, reading my bible plan, taking photos, and meditating on life. Susan went in the opposite direction, and of course (if you knew her) was late coming back, so after calling her, I left her a wipe for the gate handle and headed home.

That little act of leaving a wipe for her went a long way in bringing a smile to her face when she got back. It’s not how big the act is, but how big the heart is that performed the act.
