Dear God daughter

When your mum gave birth to you 8 years ago I was at your house looking after your brother, 7 months pregnant myself. I didn't know the sex of my unborn child but desperately wanted a girl. Your mummy seeing in me this longing and I think worried I would have another boy asked me to be your god mother.
You are such a gentle natured, good humoured, pretty little thing. You are an amazing friend to my daughter even when she isn't to you. You are creative, musical and intuitive.
