Matthew is happy

Just over 2 weeks ago I planted this Callistemon 'Matthew Flinders' bottle brush. Matthew is already flowering so Matthew must be happy.

Unlike me who is not happy.

I tested out a run/walk as per the physio instructions. It hasn't gone well unlike yesterday's walk.

Matthew's happiness kind of makes up for my lack. He's going to be a grand compact Aussie in my garden with his glorious shouty red flowers and vibrant green foliage.
