Rainbows and gum trees

This beautiful lorikeet was hiding in a gum tree as MrB and I took Abe for his nightly constitutional. I've never noticed this sort of gum before; it's quite lovely. I've posted my other two pics as Extras.

I've had a better 'remote-schooling' day today. I feel as if I'm more or less ready for next week's lessons, with a few tweaks, I'm sure.

I felt very fortunate this morning to be woken up by Abe wagging his tail and pud tat purring. We've had pud tat for two years now; he came to live with us two years ago yesterday. How time flies.
