Weather vanes

After another day at home, MrM and I set off for an early-evening walk up to the Common, but didn't get very far! Yesterday I banged my knee hard enough to see stars, but it seemed fine after a while, and I had forgotten all about it until we started walking up a slight slope. Ouch! It definitely isn't OK, but hopefully nothing that time and rest won't heal.

So we had a much shorter, flatter walk around the town. Waved at Jacqui through her window as we passed, and she and Fletch came out for a long-distance chat over the fence. The sun was shining on the tower of St Mary's Church but, unfortunately, the cherry blossom was in shade by the time we got there.
