Bodhidharma

Lockdown day 33.
Bodhidharma, the first Zen Buddhist monk, is represented in the hallway with this 1-metre high wooden carving facing the doorway from a small wooden table. It can be a bit of a shock to encounter his fierce stare on entering, so I keep my sunglasses on his face to cover his bulbous eyes.
Trying not to think today - it's all starting to get to me now.
