Purple Haze

Buzzing and working so fiendishly hard on the tiny purple flowers of the ground ivy he had to be my blip for today especially as his furry rather foxy body was rather eye-catching. 

A rather gorgeous bee-fly though the dogs were singularly unimpressed with the whole proceedings but very patient with  me. 

Both my cameras are up the swanny. My DX has been picked up today to go to London for a jaunt as the locking ring isn't working - I hope it will return ..........

My 5D is about to grind to a halt ( think it's the shutter box) and I honestly hope it survives till I get the other one back. I did have visions of being totally without a camera for the foreseeable future! Pretty bad timing all in all.
