Rain, Rain and Yet More Rain.

We are getting the tail-end of Tropical Cyclone Oswald. Massive downpours and extremely high winds, which are going to get worse as the day progresses. So glad I'm not aat work.

Picked up Alexandra on my way down to my sister's. The idea being that we were to take some furniture she didn't want for Alexandra's place. But the rain was so bad, we decided to leave it all for a better day.

Anyway, we still had a nice chat and cups of tea.

Later Alexandra and I went to Pacific Fair shopping centre for lunch and a look around.

But after awhile the weather was getting so bad, we decided to go home.

I dropped her off at her house and then had a rather hairy drive up the motorway. The traffic lights were out at certain intersections, but luckily we still have power.

This is part of my garden, last week the ground was so dry it was like walking on cornflakes, now look at it!!
