Happy Birthday

Grandson Elliot hit 12 and got the news Irish schools are closing down. Even in Ireland, Mum went to Aldi & Lidl only to find shelves empty & queues in the car park!

In fact, Mum & Elliot had been on their way to Dublin in the morning for a long-planned hospital visit to have a scan on a non-urgent joint problem. Got a call in the car that the appointment had been cancelled due to Corona!

Happy Birthday, Grandson. sadly it looks like we will not see each other this year. Hope Ryanair will be generous & refund the tickets. Past experience means there is little hope.

Cold day but still rather nice here (see extra photo). Muddy ride for Sultan for which he had his tail nicely plaited. Black cat Cindy is now 17 - we don't know exact date but a spring birth. She has been with us since about 6-8 weeks old. She's the boss but suddenly turned very old. She gets about, eats & drinks well but is not quite her normal self.

On the evening dog walk, saw the peafowl out enjoying a stretch, the hamlet alongside has put out spring decorations for its broadband telecom box and now removed the knitted hat. And finally, we met an old friend & his border collie mix, one of the few dogs Luna gets on well with, He took his E-Bike into the water to clean off the mud. As I have explained in a previous blip, he found this bike abandoned in the woods, gave it in to lost property but as it wasn't collected after 6 months, he became the owner!
