Happy Day!

I was getting a shot of a male quail sitting on the fence, watching over the others that were in for their evening meal, when this little lady came flying in. I was delighted that she went after the flowers instead of the feeder. 

The hummers have been few and far between, but I watched some mating activity yesterday of some black chinned hummingbirds. I think we are back in business!

I miss seeing these little wonders and am grateful that they are finding my flowers and feeders.
