Spot of color

It snowed here again today, yes I know it's April 16th but Colorado seems unware that we should now have rain at the lower elevations.  There has to be a good 10-11 inches in my backyard but that didn't stop the birds from visiting.  I don't see the gold finch that often in my yard and I was a little bummed with all the snow.  Seeing this little bright bit of spring really made my day.  There were a lot of birds in the backyard and to be honest I have a better shot of a robin all puffed up with its winter coat on but how could I not share this little ray of sunshine on such a dreary day!
