Follow the flock....

Not the day I expected! "I" was supposed to be playing at Allan Glens as Lenzies pitches were suffering. We got a phonecall in the morning to say that Glens had fallen foul of the weather too. The opposing team , Carrick kindly offered their facilities however we wouldn't have access to showers, finally we ended up in Irvine who saved the day! A HUGE "Thank You " goes out to Irvine RFC who were fab hosts.
This was the first game in three weeks for the team and although a bit rusty ,they were full of determination and won the game 43 -5.
A huge commitment was also generously given by the parents who rallied to the facebook messages and emails, and transported kids, kit, and caboodle down to Irvine. All for the sake of the boys getting a game.
I could have blipped some of the action, but in the middle of the game I suddenly noticed this lot flying low over the pitch into the gailforce wind that was blowing and the rain that was battering down. .....Blip sorted for the day!!
