No show

I made the mistake last year of filling up all the bird feeders prior to doing my bird count and realised that there were so many of the pesky things that I couldn't keep count of them. So this year I put a huge mound on the ground where they normally feed and waited ... and waited.

Seems like they voted with their tiny feet and got their lunch next door instead.

In other news ... the rain had washed away all the snow and all that's left of Work Bear Snowman is a carrot and two scrawney sticks!!
